Research Group

A group of interested students and I meet (usually on a weekly basis) so that students can present early or late-stage research in a “zero-stakes” setting where students give and receive feedback on their work. Everyone in the group should present at least once per term. Everyone in the group should plan on attending each session whenever at all possible to support each other as we work to level up our research together.

All UT Austin graduate students are welcome to participate in the group, as are motivated undergraduates and students from other universities who engage through Zoom.

Logistics

All group logistics are handled via the group GitHub. Once you submit a request to join the group and your request is approved, you receive an invitation for this GitHub repository. Be sure to watch repository discussions to get an email notice of all group announcements.

Acknowledgments

I am grateful for the mentorship and support of Kosuke Imai, whose group of a similar kind has made a significant positive impact on my ever-ongoing learning journey.
