In general, I’m happy to write recommendation letters for students I’ve worked with or had in classes.

If you are interested in a letter, it would help me write the best possible letter if you could follow these general principles:

• Share with me a Google Drive Folder containing your draft application materials, as well as information about the opportunity you’re applying to (no need for the draft materials to be perfect!). In addition, it would also be very helpful to share any documents or reflections from our time working together. This could include a copy of your final course paper, a few paragraphs documenting memorable accomplishments or interactions, and so forth.
• Send a calendar invitation with the opportunity deadline if possible.
