Connor Jerzak is a PhD candidate and Carl J. Friedrich Fellow in the Department of Government at Harvard University. His applied research concerns the economic sources of political preferences, and how economic changes reverberate through politics and society. His methodological research focuses on text analysis and causal inference. In the spring of 2017, he worked as an intern at Adobe Research with Nikos Vlassis, where he and Vlassis derived novel analytical results about the bias of a popular method for estimating causal effects.
